At KT Global School, we believe that a child’s success is measured not just by academic achievement, but by overall well-being. Staying true to our mission of holistic student development, we partnered with Care Netram to organize a Free Eye Screening Camp on 18th and 19th July 2025—a significant step towards ensuring vision care for our KTGS community.
A Visionary Initiative for Healthy Learning
Clear vision is essential for effective learning—especially in today’s screen-based academic environments. The eye screening camp, held right here on our campus, was part of our broader focus on preventive health care, early detection, and student wellness.
Professional optometrists from Care Netram conducted thorough, personalized eye check-ups for our students, faculty, and staff. Using advanced tools and techniques, they screened for various eye conditions and provided professional advice wherever needed.

Why Eye Health in Schools Matters
Vision problems often go unnoticed in children. Without early detection, they can hinder a child’s:
- ✅ Academic performance
- ✅ Concentration
- ✅ Confidence and behavior
According to health experts, 1 in 4 school-age children has an undiagnosed vision issue. As shared by one of the visiting specialists:
“Students may not even realize they have a vision issue. They may just feel tired, distracted, or behind in class. A simple eye check-up can make a world of difference.”
In our tech-driven classrooms, digital eye strain, blurred vision, and fatigue are becoming increasingly common. That’s why this initiative was both timely and essential.
Supporting Every Child, Inside and Out
At KT Global School, holistic development isn’t just a philosophy—it’s a lived experience. We believe learning happens best when students are physically healthy, emotionally secure, and intellectually engaged.
Health drives like this ensure our students aren’t just prepared for exams, but for life.
Our campus in Bhubaneswar offers not only academic excellence but also a safe, nurturing environment where well-being is a daily priority.
Students, Staff & Smiles
What truly made this initiative special was the wholehearted participation from the KTGS family. Students of all grades, teachers, administrative staff, and support personnel showed up enthusiastically to get screened—many of them receiving professional eye care for the first time.
This wasn’t just a health initiative—it was a shared experience of learning, care, and community.
A Heartfelt Thank You
We are deeply grateful to the team at Care Netram for their expertise, professionalism, and compassion. Special thanks also go to our KT Global School staff for organizing this event with efficiency and care.
This eye camp was a visionary step toward empowering students with the tools they need—inside the classroom and beyond.
“A healthy child is a capable child—and every capable child has the right to clear vision.”
