Personal & Social Education (PSE) is the process through which students learn about themselves and their connections with others. It is a key that unlocks learning in the other four aspects of the Learning Programme and is a core feature of our curriculum.

Students use their learning in the PSE programme to become active, self-directed learners and individuals, with the ability to recognise and regulate their emotions, form friendships, and work both independently and collaboratively towards goals.
Our educational system is based on the premise that we educate students for life, not simply for university. The skills and traits that students acquire, as well as the information and understanding that they obtain, will define the quality of their lives. PSE is at the heart of all we do, ensuring that children feel fully valued by the adults who guide their learning. Students learn about the PSE programme through explicit learning experiences such as morning meetings, mentor or advisory time, and PSE lessons. . Personal and Social Education Programme

Our Personal and Social Education curriculum, which is informed by our vision, values, and educational goals, supports all we do and reflects both the requirements of our diverse student community
These goals, which are founded on research and best practises, are important principles that we apply to the personal and social education curriculum that we build for all students in grades K-12. Students repeat these topics as they progress from grade to grade. Understanding the Self :-

We assist kids in developing their identities and understanding themselves. To that aim, our students learn to recognise and regulate emotions, comprehend physical changes, create ways to personal obstacles, and establish and achieve objectives on their own. This involves preparing for and handling life transitions such as changing schools or going to university.
Our PSE curriculum is built on assisting students in developing the personal skills they need to self-regulate in their daily lives. We may do this through mindfulness activities such as brief breathing exercises or visualisations, which assist students in finding periods of calm reflection and self-awareness. Mindfulness, which reduces stress and anxiety, provides moments of quiet in the midst of a hectic school day and helps kids connect to their surroundings and current state of being.

Understanding others :-

In addition to helping students understand themselves, our PSE programme encourages good behaviours and interactions with others. Students learn to experience empathy for others, build and sustain strong relationships, handle conflict, and make responsible decisions via PSE learning.
Students increase their intercultural competency and knowledge of different views by appreciating the diversity of our multinational cohort. This component of our PSE curriculum teaches students how to work and learn creatively and cooperatively with others.

Transferring understanding across environments :-

It is necessary that students can apply what they have learned in the PSE programme to other aspects of our programme. For example, when students embark on physically and emotionally tough Outdoor Education trips, we help them make connections to PSE learning and expand it in the new context. Similarly, when we allow kids to engage and cooperate with others in virtual settings, this occurs.
Digital literacy and safe behaviour are critical, interconnected components of our PSE programme. The themes emerge as professors push students to critically analyse their online behaviours and how they vary from those in "real" surroundings.
